According to dev bharta when Jamlu reached Malana he wanted to make it his residence but a demon lived there so Jamlu transformed himself into Monal and when the demon saw it he became hungry and made preparations to cook the monal. When he putted the Monal into oil the monal stood firmly and was alive , the demon continued his cooking for several days but nothing happened so at last he accepted his defeat. But before leaving he said to Jamlu that the village will be yours but the language and clothing system of this village will be like demons and Jamlu accepted it. When the demon crossed the river and reached the other side Devi Bhagasidh killed him and buried him there after that devi bhagasidh and Jamlu divided Malana into two parts one for Jamlu and one for devi herself.
After this Jamlu went to Manikaran, there he met Triyugi Narayan and started wandering with him after sometime they both became hungry so both started looking for food and firewood, Triyugi Narayan went searching for firewood and Jamlu was searching for food material after some time Jamlu found a demon named "Chaurasi Sidh". The demon ate Jamlu and after sometime when Triyugi Narayan came in search of Jamlu, he asked Jamlu where is he? Jamlu answered him from demon's stomach and asked him " Where do I get out? If I come out from the bottom I will be urine, if I come out from the nose I will be mucus, if I come out from the ear I will be ear wax, so what should I do?" Triyugi Narayan ordered Jamlu to get out by destroying the demon's head after that Jamlu came out and killed the demon and made Triyugi Narayan as his guru.
After visiting Manikaran Jamlu came south and reached Kotkandi top where he met Panchveer and Narad muni and asked them for a game of Chaupar, they both accepted it and started playing, Jamlu was loosing the game to Narad but panchveer helped Jamlu and made him victorious after that Jamlu made some special relations with panchveer. Jamlu and Narad together started descending the mountain and reached Bonag (बोनग) they played another game of Chaupar there and after that they reached Hawai (हवाई) they sat there along with Durvasa rishi, ramsi devta who was in that place at that time was asked by those three for water, ramsi gave them water but they asked him for the water of two rivers so, devta ramsi in one footstep reached bhuntar sangam where river beas and parvati meet and brought water from sangam for them. After witnessing such hospitality Jamlu made Ramsi his wazir and gave him boon that "the divine kettle of mine will always be held by the person of your family". Other two devtas left that place but Jamlu was mesmerised by the beauty of that place and decided to stay in that place he meditated there under a deodar tree for several years and after many years he restarted his journey and left that place.
After thousands of years later mohra or mukh of Jamlu was found in village Hawai by a shepherd.
